ELIMINATE THE BITES AND PREVENT MOSQUITOESMOSQUITO PEST CONTROL NJ

      • Complete mosquito control – Treating for mosquitoes means identifying their breeding source. Your technician will find the source of the problem and determine the best ways to eliminate it. To eradicate the adult mosquitoes, your technician will treat areas where they congregate like bushes and landscaped areas. Spraying, fogging, and larvacide treatment methods may be applied based on what the technician finds during your inspection.
      • Long-term Protection – Your technician will perform an exterior treatment along the perimeter of your home to keep mosquitoes and other pests from entering.
      • Maintaining pressure – Keeping pressure on the surrounding mosquito population is crucial to maintaining a mosquito free property. We can schedule you for  follow up service visits throughout the summer months so that you never have to worry about bites again.
      • Prevention for the future – Your technician will educate you on the best ways to prevent mosquito activity in the future and the best ways to protect yourself against bites.

      MOSQUITO FACTS

Pest Entry: Mosquitoes are usually a problem in the summer months, making their way into homes through small cracks in window sills or open doors.

Environment: Mosquitoes can thrive in a variety of environments, but moisture is always necessary for their breeding process. They are most often found in marshy or wooded areas, or near bodies of water. Eggs are laid in stagnant water. Bird baths, tires, ponds, slow moving streams, all make for good breeding grounds.

Health/Damage Concerns: Mosquitoes are responsible for the spread of numerous diseases and can carry the Zika virus.

Home Remedies: Home remedies only work temporarily, since contact sprays only kill the adult mosquitoes that you actually hit directly.

WHAT TYPE OF MOSQUITO IS IT?

      Name: Culex pipiens

The four life stages of the anopheles mosquitoe are the egg, larval, pupal and adult stages. The first three stages take place in stagnant water. The unique feature of anopheles mosquitoes is how their eggs are laid. Unlike most species that group their eggs together in egg rafts, Anopheles lay their egg individually. Like other mosquitoes, the egg float on the surface of the water and only take 2-3 days to hatch in moderate climates. The larvae feed on algae and bacteria in the water, while adults feed on plant nectar. Its the females that need to take a blood meal in order to reproduce, which is the reason they bite humans and animals. Males do not bite, they are sugar feeders. Anopheles is a common transmitter of Malaria and other disease, although most cases are reported in other areas of the world.
